Pay with CurrencyFair is a cross-border payment solution designed to be simple to integrate with to scale the way businesses receive, exchange, and make bulk transactions.
The pilot release was in partnership with Chinese business-to-business eCommerce marketplace, Buy-World. This solution also had to accommodate the complexities and regulations of moving money cross-border between Chinese manufacturers and global buyers.

The initial requirements were to build in our solution into the eCommerce platform. After several rounds of ideating different approaches, myself and the product owner made a successful case to key stakeholders that separating our payment flow from the eCommerce platform due to its UI/UX limitations.
Keeping the platforms separate meant we could ensure a positive user experience when interacting directly with CurrencyFair. It also means going forward the Pay with CurrencyFair application will be easier to integrate with other online services.
